Do you ever need to know the status of
critical parameters in your water system? Now?
Watchman Knows!
Iris’s technology is changing the lives of the small water districts and their pump dealer. The district’s water delivery system can now be monitored and controlled by way of the Internet with the use of Iris’s Watchman System™.
The Watchman System™ monitors, controls and records how a water delivery system performs remotely over the Internet. From multiple sensors, the water delivery system is monitored and displayed in real-time, using a unique interface called the vPanel™, (see an example below). The Watchman System™ sends alert signals through e-mail and text messages about the performance of the system, as well as reports for analysis and documentation. Key control parameters and settings are controlled remotely from any computer over the Internet using the vControl™.
The vPanel™ runs software on the local client computer referred to as a Watchman. This vPanel™ is the application that water district personnel use to monitor in real-time and to change control parameters.
The Iris servers include web-based database applications, applications for retrieving daily reports from each Watchman Systemä, applications for processing and forwarding alerts from all the Watchman units, and applications for log-on security and user authentication.
Watchman vPanel:
Every Watchman Systemä installation has a monitoring and control application that runs on client computers (standard PCs and laptops with an Internet connection). The application is used by the pump dealer and/or water district personnel to monitor the water distribution system in real-time and to alter various control parameters as required. Below are screen captures of actual real time Cockpits for three different water district sites.
