Data Logging, System history in the click of a button.

Public Water systems are not as simple as they once were. They are a dynamic structure. They are constantly changing and adjusting.

With the Watchman System the water manager can access not only “real time” information about the system, but can view data in detail over the history of the water system once a Watchman System is installed.

The Watchman unit compiles and stores 24 hours of data, then once a day the data is loaded onto a data base server for historical record keeping.

Assigned users can then login to their account and view historical data in several different categories.

With many water systems injecting chlorine the challenge of constant adjustments and daily record keeping can be very time consuming. Small water systems just do not have the staffing to keep residual chlorine levels accurate and recording of the levels is a daily chore.

The Watchman system reports the free chlorine levels in real time as well as logging the levels for the past 24 hours on a “rolling” basis. A user can access the Watchman vPanel and not only see the free chlorine levels currently in the system, but can check on levels from the past 24 hours.

Logging and Reporting

A daily log of the free chlorine in the system is a normal requirement. With the Watchman system a user can access the data and see a history of the monitored parameter.

Many local and state health departments require an “audit” of the chlorine records. The auditor may review the daily log of the free chlorine test. With the Watchman system, the water system can demonstrate not only daily chlorine levels, but can access chlorine levels on an “every” 15-minute basis from any point in the history of the water system from the time the Watchman system was installed.

The Watchman system has been approved for logging and data reporting by local Health Officials in California. Reports can be generated to meet local requirements or custom reporting can be designed to meet any system need. Reports can then be sent via email or standard mail to the systems administrator.

With the Watchman system the burden of record keeping is eliminated and those resources are freed up to make a more valuable contribution to managing the water system.
